About
I work in the Wilton Test Kitchen, a job that I might consider doing for free if I ever win the lottery. At work I develop recipes for cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats, and occasionally get to make something more on the savory side. I also test bakeware, cake decorating tools, and all kinds of kitchen gadgets for functionality. Once in a while I get to make recipes on the PBS television show Bake Decorate Celebrate! How cool is that?
I’m in love with a hottie chef who works hours that are opposite of mine. We rarely get a chance to eat together, and rather that create a mountain of dishes cooking for myself, I’ve regressed to dormitory-style dinners: mac n cheese from a box, canned soups, cold cereal.
Every time I tell someone I’ve met what Jon and I do for work, they make some kind of comment about how we must eat so well at home. If they only knew…
So here I am, flexing my kitchen skills, and making a mountain of dishes that can wait until the morning. I’m having friends over to eat.

Your job sounds amazing!
Thanks Kelli! It is pretty awesome, and I feel super fortunate to be able to do something that I love every day. I eat like a cow at work, but it’s all part of the job!
